The Preliminary Investigation With USA Text Matching for the Feasibility Patent Similarity in R.O.C. for Electronic Digital Data Management

Taking the Smart Asset Evaluation System and Bank Statement Management System as Examples

This research is mainly based on the USA Text Matching method, supplemented
by the perspective of patent analysis, to analyze and discuss the use of the US Text
Matching method for the feasibility of patent approximation for electronic digital data
management of all invention patents and utility patents granted in the different areas of
smart asset evaluation systems and bank statement management systems from 2004 to
July 2018, granted by the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) of the Ministry of
Economic Affairs of the Republic of China. Furthermore, the patent samples retrieved
and selected by this research are mainly based on electronic digital data management
inventions or new patents published or issued by the IPO of the Ministry of Economic
Affairs of the Republic of China, including, from 2004 to present, electronic digital data
management inventions or utility patents that have been applied for publication in the
Republic of China by applicants from various countries or regions, and those that have
not yet been announced for their certifications or those that have been applied for
publication and announced for their certifications. After empirical research, it was
found that with the research tool of this thesis, namely the American Text Matching
method, the information and data mined and measured can also be used to calculate the
patent technology of other subject patents on approximation. To conclude, this research
is to permit a more careful text matching method of patent technology in the technical
field of the patent to which the subject of exploration is more carefully explored, and
propose suggestions for future patent search applications and developments.
